Problem Note 42817: In SAS® Digital Marketing, variables that start with the letter "S" are not tracked for Campaign Management broadcasts
The SAS Digital Marketing New Broadcast Wizard enables you to create a broadcast that uses a CI Export Definition. This export definition includes the variables that you want to track. However, if you add a variable to track whose name starts with the letter "S", such as SURNAME, then the New Broadcast Summary fails to retain your new variable. The variable does not appear in the broadcast HTML and it is not tracked within the broadcast e-mails.
A hot fix for SAS Digital Marketing 5.3 is available upon request from Technical Support.
